This is a weaving hollow bag. You can put tiny stuff into it and hook up with a loop.

From a specific angle, it looks like a peanut.

I think it's possible to make stuff with specific shapes if designing carefully first. And that will need much time and efforts to expand.

Thin wire weaved cross

Every cross is appreciating God.

If you take a close look, you can find the cross was weaved in 2 different methods. I changed my mind in the mid way to use another weaving.

Apply force on the cross and it will bend. In the same way, it could be pushed back and still be fine.

The beads is not only a deco but also a comparison. So, you have a feel about how little the weaved cross is.

It's fine because while making, my head was full and I listened to music to see if the CDs were still good or should be shed.

Using thin wire weaving to make a stuff always needs many many repeated steps. No one should expect it to be done in short time.

Recently, I learned that life rituals is useful and important. It seems that rituals would limit options; actually, ritual keeps things simple and easy.

This final result was the third type I tried. Satisfied or not? I thought about transforming to a animal motif like fish or something.

Bracelets take often more time to create. The twisted Viking weaving Bracelet is a little tricky, but not as difficult as you think. Complicated things can always be simpler in a better and clear way with some thought.

It's approaching a new year 2014. I took some time organizing and cleaning wires, beads, crafts, tools and other materials. Coping with all the mess is for going on.

Looping weaving: a bar and a drop

It's been months that I wanted to make "a bar and a drop".
A drop never be a problem, but the bar is not easy to fit the idea. Looping weaving can be created as the bar. Weaving has a good nature, it can strengthen the wire piece. So, the bar will not be too weak.
This piece have some to improve. However, I don't feel like redoing or going further.

The wire used in this piece is 22 gauge, so please think about the small size, about 1.6 * 1.6cm. It has two different faces.

Why is looping weaving? I name it weaving for it is weaving. Looping is for the loop-like on one side.

Around the bead

Thin wire being around the bead, small pendants are more acceptable. A little shining is enough for many people.
"Small" is the major part of this one.

The pupa is small but takes long wire. I don't remember the actual length, which is more than 1 meter.

  

Weaving the autumn leaf

Autumn is my favorite season, not too hot nor too cold.

Autumn is the time for fallen leaves. So, here is the wire fallen leaf, woven with 22 gauge copper wire. The copper color is suitable for the autumn. The total length is about 50 cm. I think it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to make.

Basically, the weaving method used is the ordinary braiding.

I call it gemstone style wire weaving. Because it has cuts as like gemstones.

I love to weave wires. However, if doing much weaving, my fingers will getting sore. If my fingers got sore seriously, I have to rest for some days. That's an occasion that should be avoided. That's one of the major reasons of why I seldom make multiple ones with other colors or changing a bit in one design.

Thin copper wire woven bracelet

The wire is 22 gauge. The copper bracelet is thin. Adding some beads will easily make a change.

This kind of wire weaving is better looking if kept looser. 

About the length needed, I did not write it down this time and how come I can't recall it now. 

I think the pattern is very clear. As you can see in the photo, it's not flat, it has some 3D style as its feature. It's different from normal braiding. The normal wire braiding will be flatter than this.

Calling it a small spider web is because the outside diameter is just about 2 cm.

Material:

Jade bead weaving pendant

The handmade pendant is a combination of a natural jade bead and weaving.

I want to use out at least one spool of wire bought last month. Recently, I am in a good mood and able to keep making crafts. 

I am still trying hard to make the making keep up with ideas and not letting ideas just sit alone.

Last Saturday, I went to crafts center to see exhibitions, and read some crafts magazines. I was inspired and relaxed.

Double color Viking weaving bracelet

This is a variation of Viking weaving.
The Double color Viking weaving bracelet is very thin, because of 4-braids and 28 gauge wires.

It's such a fine work that it makes eyes uncomfortable and takes more time to make it.

It's a really hot summer. In the evening, I took the work outdoor to enjoy the breeze and found that it's much more effective in the bright outdoor light. The natural light makes the fine lines so clear and also is better to eyes. I will create more crafts outdoor. If you want to do fine jewelry work, why not consider working outdoor? It's worth it.

The ends of the bracelet are different. I prefer the twisting one.
