Metal Barrette

First of all, there is no glue used. After trying this metal barrette several times, I found it's good enough without glue.

There are two holes on the metal barrette. Using wires to go through the holes and to tie to the metal or themselves can be fixed enough. So the rule is: whenever something is not really necessary, just discard it.

Green Brooch

If adding two black beads as eyes, this green stuff looks like a worm.
28 gauge thin wire used.

This is a variation from previous post. At first, I thought this variation would be nice, however the result is not as good as I thought. Anyway, it still represents a process from the idea to the outcome.

Around the bead part 5: hemispheric

I formed this hemispheric yesterday and took pictures today. I made the hemispheric wiring part bigger instead of just one string.

One string was the simple idea, whenever it's possible to make anything in a simple way and style. I choose "simple".

If one string isn't enough to create a good enough craft, then, I add something to cover the weakness. That's the way I go along. Simplicity is the starter for me. The benefit is the clear mind about what and how crafts are.

Around the bead part 2

This is derived from the former post "Around the bead". Only adding some beads can make the creation, which its major part is the same, looking very different.

From one start, with some little change you can make many different types. For instance, even only creating with different color of wires or beads can making another type.

By the way, when it comes to thin wire wrapping, weaving, or any other, it usually takes more times.

Another flower

This is another type of flower.
The craft is small, quick, and easy.

"One method can be used to create many different projects."

Thin wire weaving pupa

The pupa is small but takes long wire. I don't remember the actual length, which is more than 1 meter.

Thin Wire Beading:Grain Spike

Here's a creation of thin wire beading. The thin wire is 28 gauge. The length required is much less than I thought. The total is about 50 cm.
