Multiple tangles

In the photos, the multiple tangles looks not bad. However, to tell you the truth, it's not that good.

Since it's the beginning of a new year, I hope the coming whole year be more colorful.

One of the photos for comparison.

New wiring soap holder

I usually have 2 or 3 handmade soaps in the bathroom, so it's better to have one more soap holder.

Sometimes I just want to try another new soap, even the old ones are not yet finished. Handmade soaps are really good to skin. The soaps help me prevent skin problems over the years. If you are new to handmade soaps and having skin problems, I do recommend you to give it a try. Sometimes, the skins problems is from the chemistry. Natural stuff can reduce the chemical problems.

A wood soap holder would mildew in wet air over time, while a craft soap holder being steady.

The weaving needs patience. I lose my patience somehow when hammering the ends. I hammered my finger once.

The wire wrapped heart

I added one tutorial of "How to make a wire heart" to "Write With Wire" Ebook as a bonus for all.

There are many ways to make hearts.

The wire wrapped heart is based on the method above. And then, wrap around the heart frame. This kind of wrapping looks irregular, but it has its benefit.

Materials of the wire wrapped pink heart
1. 18 gauge about 20 cm
2. 28 gauge about 15 cm
3. 3 mm aqua beads 7 pcs

I believe "Every creation is a trying and every making is a learning."

No matter how the result is, people know more and improve in the making process.

The pink wire heart is small, its size is about 1.8 cm * 2 cm.

Wire Olympic Rings

2012 London Olympic Games will start today. It's the biggest world event in 2012.       I am looking forward to the Games and will watch on TV.

Olympic rings is the symbol of Olympic Games.

"The five Olympic rings represent the five continents involved in the Olympics and were designed in 1912, adopted in June 1914 and debuted at the 1920 Antwerp Olympics." ----from Wikipedia

It's for fun. The wire Olympic rings consist of five colorful jump rings. They are blue, yellow, black, green, and red from left to right.
The way we unite.
If you repeat the five color jumps rings several times, you get a bracelet.

Double color Viking weaving bracelet

This is a variation of Viking weaving.
The Double color Viking weaving bracelet is very thin, because of 4-braids and 28 gauge wires.

It's such a fine work that it makes eyes uncomfortable and takes more time to make it.

It's a really hot summer. In the evening, I took the work outdoor to enjoy the breeze and found that it's much more effective in the bright outdoor light. The natural light makes the fine lines so clear and also is better to eyes. I will create more crafts outdoor. If you want to do fine jewelry work, why not consider working outdoor? It's worth it.

The ends of the bracelet are different. I prefer the twisting one.

The freestyle wiring pendant

One single-color wiring object can be added any little element to have a various feel.

The leftover wire does not have to be a waste.

This is a freestyle pendant from some wire-work leftover made before. Here is a good example that leftover materials have its way to become a great craft.

Let things to sit for some time and ideas will hit you at any time.

1. The best part of freestyle is free. The rule is free, not limit.

2. Turn any one loop and thread the chain. It has a feel of bonsai.

 3. Does crystal beads match this freestyle pendant?

 4. What about colorful beads? If you like it, just to wrap beads on.

5. What about similar color beads? By the way, big photos are great.

Twisted wire leaf dangles

Somehow photos taken today are bluish and a bit blurred, though it's a bright day. I have tried many times, and decided it's enough.

These little leaves can serve as dangles. Using twisted wire is another variations.

Silver and Red Wire Charm

Silver is a pretty color and it can come along with any color well.

Use black background and white background to see the difference.
It's not easy to decide which is better, so I keep both.

Black background takes some time to trim the photo.

Sometimes I think little wire charms cam be as a kind of beads.
Yes, beads made of wires.
Do you like this idea?
