Green with gold color

A rush post
I do not give much thought on this one.
No new skill, no new material.

Green goes well with gold or yellow color. Maybe it's like the nature. Green is the leaves, and it can support all the colors of various flowers. Who can say that the nature is wrong?

The red bezel

The red bezel is made of

  1. one piece 18 gauge wire about 50 cm long
  2. Bezel size: 36 mm by 48 mm
If making a bigger bezel, then it may become a fruit basket.

A theme stone can be added to the bezel. To decorate the frame, use seed beads or bigger beads to wrap around. Changing the positions of the beads can get different styles.

Wire Twisted Star

The star is made of pink and red 18 gauge twisted wires.

In my opinion, the curve looks good, but the ends of wires can be made better.

I am loving reading on kindle and this made me distracted. I just feel like reading novels. My keyboard had a problem today and it took me about one hour to fix.

I took some photos of the star, but finally only one is clear. So, there is only one photo on this post.

The wire bean pendant

Material:
1. 1.5mm *  15cm
2. 0.3mm *  40cm
3. 4mm beads   13pcs

Size:  3.5cm * 2cm

I saw a series of tea utensils that are created from the shape and the concept of seeds. Then, I had the idea to make this bean pendant and made it.

The ends of thick wires especially need to be taken care. File them.

Wire weaving: woven leaf

I used new-bought materials to make this woven leaf.

What I want is gold color, but it looks like copper color. The thick frame is gold color, but the thinner wires looks quite different. I thought the vendor sent me the wrong ones.

The weaving is very easy and straightforward. The line keeps going like the figure 8 route. All the "8" weaving is starting from a frame to weave. Every one can make "8" weaving easily, only if he knows how to write 8.

Although this kind of woven leaf needs more wire, the result is not as good as I like. I made another double-color woven leaf by "8" weaving and will post tomorrow. It's much better.

On the leaf, I added a crystal bead as a dew.

Wire Weaving Basket

The best feature of wire weaving is solid. Another feature is it will need much more materials.

This little wire weaving basket needs about 2 yards of wire.

Such a basket is not hard to make, it just requires some patience.

I will use the same weaving method to extend to make wire bags, wire balls.....etc.

The wire weaving basket is practical to store some little objects.
If making a smaller one, it can be a jewelry dangle.
If making a larger one, it can store more things inside.

Wire cosmos flower

Cosmos flowers are popular flowers when the land needs a rest for a season. A stretch of cosmos flowers in the countryside is one of my biking views.

Wire twin star

The star is a very normal shape.
The feature of the twin star is making twice of it.

First, make a normal star.
Second, make it again.

The bigger star is making the second star around the first one, liking wrapping it.
The smaller star is separate.

I prefer simple but pretty-lined designs. It's inevitable to try to prevent tool marks.
Except for the cutting at both ends, there is no tool mark on the heart. In this red heart, I don't even make round loops at the ends. They look like normal loops, but actually not roundly completed, yet still holding well.

Wire Jewelry Fruits Series 3: Grapes

Wire grapes
This wire grapes design is a both sides design.
I love design of combining with many little loops.
Recently, I made some wire fruits, and I think I could make wire fruits series.

Wire Jewelry Fruits Series 2: Apple

Wire shape: apple

Fruits make people feel good.
This wire apple design is based on the logo of big company Apple Inc.
I add a loop inside the wire apple, so to hang charms, beads and so on.

Add a bead to the apple

Actually, it's not perfect.

My own review:
The bite should be a little higher and the apple shape can  be better.

Sunflowers means smiles.
It's a gloomy day. Sunflowers can bring some lights.

Wire Soap Holder

I need another Soap Holder for my handmade soap (CP cold precess soap).
This wire soap holder is made of gauge 12 wire.
It's also a good opportunity to try the diy nylon jaws.
Half hard gauge 12 wire is a little hard to bend and it worn out the nylon pieces.

wire soap holder

Both sides work.
Actually it's not my start design, my first idea for this soap holder is simpler than end item.  But everything changes while making. The start idea is often different with end item.
Both sides of this soap holder works.

normal sized soap holder
CP soap need soap holder to last for longer use. This wire soap holder can be used to hold up to 200g soad.

While making soap holder with wire, the most important things is whether the holder can stand well.

The soap holder stands well with soap on it.

The nylon pieces are broke.
Replace the nylon pieces

very few tool marks
The nylon part of mylon jaws is very easy to wear out. The nylon part worn out, when this wire soap holder is done. Since the replacement of nylon pieces costs me nothing and it deals with tool marks well, I am satisfied.
